The 2025 ANZSPR ASM was designed as a smaller, boutique meeting held adjacent to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. The premise was a deep dive into workplace culture and well-being, with a clinical focus on cases including discrepancies, M&Ms and great picks.
We heard inspiring keynote speeches from Drs Marie Bismark, Eric Levi and Peter Steere each of whom discussed the importance of culture over strategy, and the need for Radiologists to really look after themselves and each other. The subsequent day and half program was packed with brilliant presentations to a very engaged and collegiate audience. A large number of speakers were brave enough to present their mistkes which provided invaluable learning opportunities for everyone in the room.
Of course no ANZSPR conference would be complete without a brilliant social event or 2 and Chin Chin restaurant provided the back drop for this year’s dinner.
We left for home extraordinarily proud of the diverse and collaborative group which forms ANZSPR, with anticipation already brewing for the 2026 edition in Queenstown, NZ.
